Is Hoppie compatible with 3-wheel strollers?
Yes — Hoppie fits plenty of 3-wheel strollers and joggers. It comes down to the frame, so send us your model if you're not sure.
Is Hoppie compatible with umbrella strollers?
Usually not. Classic ultra-light umbrella strollers lack the rigid rear frame that Hoppie needs to attach safely. Should yours have a sturdy tubular frame, send us a photo and we'll check.
Is Hoppie compatible with travel strollers?
Yes — Hoppie pairs well with most travel strollers that have a sturdy frame.
Is Hoppie compatible with double strollers?
It can, provided your double stroller has a central rear bar (or a central lower attachment point). Without one, Hoppie isn't wide enough to sit securely.
Is Hoppie compatible with a bassinet?
Hoppie was designed first and foremost for strollers with a standard seat. Some bassinets can work, as long as there is enough room at the back of the stroller for your child to sit comfortably and safely. When the bassinet occupies all of the rear space, Hoppie cannot be used properly.
Can I use Hoppie with an infant car seat?
Often yes — it depends on your stroller and car seat. Whenever there's enough room at the back, it usually works. Send us a photo and we'll confirm.
Can I use Hoppie with parent-facing and forward-facing strollers?
Hoppie is built mainly for forward-facing seats. Parent-facing can work at times, as long as there's enough room at the back — send us a photo and we'll check.
Usage
What is Hoppie?
Hoppie is a clip-on hammock-style seat made to attach onto the back of most strollers. It gives your older child (18 months to 4 years) a safe, comfy place to sit and rest — with no bulky double stroller needed.
What age is Hoppie suitable for?
Hoppie is recommended for toddlers between 18 months and 5 years old who are able to sit on their own without support.
The maximum weight limit is 20 kg / 44 lbs.
What is the maximum weight limit?
Hoppie safely holds children weighing up to 20 kg (44 lbs).
How long does it take to install Hoppie?
Under 30 seconds. Just clip the top straps to the stroller handles and the bottom straps to the frame near the wheels, then set the angle. No tools needed.
Do I need any tools to install it?
No — Hoppie goes on completely tool-free in less than 30 seconds.
Can I leave Hoppie attached to my stroller?
Yes — plenty of parents keep it on for everyday use. It stays firmly attached between walks.
Can I fold my stroller with Hoppie attached?
Yes — on most strollers you can fold it with Hoppie still on. With very compact strollers, take it off first; it packs into its pouch in seconds.
Is Hoppie easy to carry?
Very. It folds down into the waterproof pouch included and weighs only around 500 g (1.1 lb) — simple to drop into your bag.
Can Hoppie be used daily?
Absolutely. Hoppie is built from durable, breathable materials, made to handle regular use on walks, outings or travel.
Can I move Hoppie between different strollers?
Yes — unclipping it and setting it up again on any compatible stroller takes just a few seconds.
Safety
Is it safe to attach a seat to the rear of my stroller?
Yes, provided it is used as instructed. Hoppie comes with 4 secure straps (Velcro + carabiner hooks) that ensure strong attachment to most stroller frames.
That said, you should:
- Always supervise your child during use
- Follow your stroller’s official weight and balance guidelines
- Never use Hoppie if it affects the stability or steering of your stroller
Has Hoppie undergone safety testing?
Yes. Hoppie is engineered and tested for safe everyday use when it is installed correctly and used with adult supervision.
Does my child have to wear a seatbelt?
For short seated rest periods (city walks, parks, travel), Hoppie includes an integrated toddler belt made to secure younger children when needed. Plenty of parents use it without the belt for older, more stable toddlers — but for extra safety, the harness can be used with ease.
We always recommend active adult supervision.
Can Hoppie be used on uneven ground?
Yes, but move slowly and carefully over rough or bumpy terrain.
Can I jog or run with Hoppie?
No — Hoppie is made for walking only, not for jogging or running.
Can I carry my stroller up stairs while Hoppie is attached?

Can my child sleep in Hoppie?

How long does delivery take?
Orders get processed fast and, on average, are delivered in 4 to 6 business days.
Do you ship worldwide?
